Hamburger Mary’s (415 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs 760-778-MARY). Diner style restaurant serving the GLBT community. Good fried foods, hamburgers and fun décor. Try the Sloppy Joes…

Toucans Tiki Lounge (2100 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs 92262 760-416-7584) This bar restaurant is a fun and friendly place. Happy hour is until 8:00. The crowd is mixed gay and straight.

Hunter’s Video Bar (302 East Arenas Road, Palm Springs 92262 760-323-0700) Hunter’s a young and hip video / dance bar. The crowd is mainly Gay men and the music is good. When you are done here run across the street and get a slice of pizza.

The Tool Shed (600 East Sunny Dunes Road, Palm Springs 92262 760-320-3299).

The Tools shed is a dark Leather / Levi bar with pool table and outside smoking section. There is no question that this is the biggest pickup bar in Palm Springs. The music is good and people are generally talkative and friendly. The bar is located right next to Gear which is a Leather BDSM store.

The Barracks (67-625 East Palm Canyon Drive, Cathedral City 92234  760-321-9588) Located in Cathedral City (about 15 minutes from Palm Springs) this bar is also a Leather / Levi / Uniform bar. The crowd here is more talkative and a little less cruisy than the Tool Shed. The bar has a large outdoor space and occasionally you can get your buzz cut or military haircut done on the premises. The bar has a pool table and a small adult store.
